Live Webcasting allows for any audio or video event to
be transmitted in real-time over the Internet. This webcast
can be made accessible to virtually any Internet-connected
computer
in the world. Both public and private (user name and password
protected) webcasts can be facilitated.
Live Webcasting can be compared to a watching a television
show in real-time, where you cannot fast forward or rewind
the show during the broadcast period. However, just like
a television show can be recorded, a live webcast can be
"archived" for future playback. As a matter of
fact WebcastCenter recommends that you create an archived
(on-demand) clip of the live webcast.
Some examples of live webcasting would be: speech by the
company CEO, stockholders' meeting, and other time-sensitive
events, etc.
Live webcasting services are available in Windows Media
and Real formats, in audio or in audio/video modes.

Unlike On-Demand Webcast, Live Webcast is a little more
involved, i.e., it requires some additional preparation
time. Contact WebcastCenter and discuss your live webcasting
needs.
